International Paper is looking for a Senior Manager (IT Finance).
Responsibilities:
Directs the management of Procure to Pay Finance Application Services (Accounts Payable, Credit, Dispute Management) functions for enterprise SAP-based system solutions around the world
Directs the management of Order to Cash Finance Application Services (Accounts Receivable, Collections, Dispute Management) functions for enterprise SAP-based system solutions around the world
Directs the management of Record to Account Finance Application Services (General Ledger, Cost & Profitability, Treasury) functions for enterprise SAP-based system solutions around the world.
Directs the management of all technical interfaces and controls monitoring in the Finance space, including support and enhancements of the Corporate Consolidation system and other financial reconciliation and reporting systems
Establish the vision, mission, and strategic plan for delivery of main application enablement (customer, business, and staff group facing), and tightly integrated applications and support services to business and staff group leaders
Directs the effective use of IT Enterprise Application Services resources using a shared information technology infrastructure:
Directs application support strategies and processes
Provides support to major company initiatives in meeting their project deliverables
Monitors application performance
Provides 7×24 level 2 & 3 application support services; keep the lights on, seeking ways to reduce overhead
Consults, analyzes and evaluates process and application enhancement opportunities utilizing standard delivered functionality where possible
Drives global custom, standard and new solutions to support Finance and provide business value
Participates in development of business case analysis and provide alternatives and estimates for application solutions
Provides leadership to and manage the development and implementation of solutions through collaboration across multiple functional and development teams internal and external to this organization
Tests business solutions in a highly integrated environment following established methodologies and tools
Forecasts and balances demand against resource availability based on priority and business benefit
Leverages global resource supply and vendor resources to balance project demand
Implements service delivery and operational metrics based on business partner and customer service requirements and provides regular reporting on results
Establishes relationships with third party providers to provide managed services to help enable an effective, geographically dispersed, and cost efficient global IT operating model
Ensures all legal, audit and regulatory requirements are met, including development of Business and Applications impact plans, disaster recovery plans, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, and periodic system audits
Participates as a partner to the Finance Global Operations teams and Global Process Owners councils to ensure alignment of enhancements and projects with business priorities
Participates as a partner in the prioritization of enhancements and projects
Establishes and maintains a disciplined project management and solutions delivery environment with common processes and procedures to improve service delivery and provides consistent quality while driving down costs
Leads and develops a highly skilled and motivated functional team of managers and business process analysts and architects
Demonstrates a commitment to employee engagement; coaches, mentors, and develops both managers and business process analysts
Requirements:
Functional Skills:
10-15 years business and IT experience with increasing managerial responsibilities
Strong leadership skills and ability to recruit, retain, develop and motivate managers and individual contributors
Understanding of strategic direction of company
Understanding of the strategic direction of the IT organization
Understanding of the Finance Global Operations organization and design including enabling technology
