GlaxoSmithKline is searching for an Internal communications and employer brand manager.
Key job responsibilities:
Planning:
Develop an internal communication plan to support the communication needs of the organization and ensure internal audiences communicate effectively on the key activities, projects, programs etc.
Internal comms strategy implementation:
Execute internal communications strategy by engaging and aligning employees in a simple and clear way around global and local strategy, business priorities and performance by supporting General Manager, Russia: Leadership Team and partnering with key functions within the organization
Develop high-quality communication materials (content) and effectively communicate across various target audiences
Edit materials (papers, briefs, power point presentations etc.) and undertake full quality assurance to ensure they conform to standards and will promote the image and objectives of the organization
Ensure all web-sites and other communication platforms are up to date, accurate, compelling and functional, liaise with IT and tech support as needed
Communicate clearly and in a timely fashion with internal audience, f2f, through e-mail where appropriate
Drive internal communications agenda as part of communications and government affairs function, in partnership with HR and other functions
Implement a robust approach to gather employees insights and expectations to deliver business benefits
Implement continuous interactions with regional and corporate communication groups to generate and receive insights, support and guidance as appropriate and ensure appropriate reflection of the LOC within regional and corporate news flows
Promote GSK reputation and narrative by executing continuous internal communications campaign through-out the organization by bringing GSK visual identity and narrative (innovation and access, values, performance) to employees
Promote corporate brand and style, Support initiatives to develop and foster high quality standards and guidelines for communications across different channels and formats
Promote corporate culture among employees via various forms of engagement agreed with the management team
Internal comms support for the local projects:
Promote visibility and recognition of each function within the organization in Moscow as well as in the regions, as a contributor to the business
Continuously review and implement corporate comms initiatives to adjust into the LOC context
Drive employees awareness around GSK therapy areas and focus on patient (e.g. through disease awareness and other initiatives)
Drive and support some company initiatives related to the GSK social responsibility area.
Implement monthly / quality reporting on high-impact activities and best-practice sharing with the regional above-country group to promote the achievements of LOC
Efficiency:
Continuously seek for feedback, conduct regular assessments on internal communication effectiveness and improve performance and enhance efficiency
Leverage and optimize news-flow within the organization by generating content (e.g. by preparing briefings for senior leaders) and managing distributions lists, e-mails, daily and ad hoc newsletters, bi-weekly news digest, town-halls, broadcasts, Connect GSK, WorkPlace, plasmas, office space / design, internal events and other intra-organization communication tools
Liaise and work with external suppliers and partners including, but not limited to designers, printers and production companies
Embrace digital communication tools to deliver the objectives
Manage dedicated communications and employer brand budget
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
University degree
The role requires deep knowledge of communications processes, excellent communication skills, ability to generate high-quality content in Russian and in English, excellent writing and oral communications skills
Minimum 5 year experience, incl. min 2 years of working experience with communications or HR functions
Ability to lead the teams
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
University degree in Communications, public relations
Relevant experience in utilizing digital channels in communications
Strong IT / tech skills
