HR Director.
Job purpose:The Human Resources Director partners with the business to develop, promote and implement human resources solutions to meet the business needs. He/she will lead a team of professionals in the region. A successful candidate will demonstrate considerable leadership abilities across a broad range of skills, including strategy, change management, learning & development, performance management, negotiation, effective communications as well as winning the hearts and minds of people.
The business partnership is manifested in the various roles of HR as a Strategic Partner, Process Expert, Change-Agent and as an employee advocate. To achieve our organization objectives, it is necessary to establish and develop a competent, efficient, and results oriented HR Organization which understands local requirements while maintaining alignment with EMIA policies and processes on Talent, Performance, Reward & Recognition, Development and Culture.
Responsibilities:
- Develop organization strategies by identifying and researching HR Solutions; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing objectives in line with organizational objectives;
Implement strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, health and safety, succession planning, employee relations and retention
- Partner with leadership by providing HR advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications
- Guide leadership and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values
- Lead and deliver results through a team (+15) by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counselling and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change
- Develop financial strategies for the HR function by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances
Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (ideally within Human Resources, Psychology, Law and/or organizational development field)
- Technical: proficiency in Office 365 & SAP HR (EC / SuccessFactors) preferred
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Min of 10 years experience in different areas of HR with a min 5 years at the senior management / leadership level
- Experience of working in a global and matrix business & HR organization
- International Travel: low (5%-10%)
