Vigrom has been successfully developing
iGaming business for 11 years. Our team of more than 100 people develop software and products for the international market, constantly expanding their presence in Europe and Latin America.
Now they are looking for a
Technical Director who will work with a strong in-house team of 35 people, with an organized organizational structure and divided into 5 units: 3 product development teams, 1 system administrator team, 1 operation team.
Main technology development stack: PHP 7.4, PostgreSQL 12.3, Vue.js, Node.js (v16), Ansible, ClickHouse, React, Java;
Infrastructure deployed as IaC on AWS with 99.9+% uptime, RTO 10 minutes, RPO 2 hours and going to zero
There are 2 technological products inside the company. The main product enters the B2B market as SaaS, is now implemented as a monolith, systematically migrating to a service architecture and using more than 20 integrations of third-party vendors inside.
Your tasks will be:
Development management in the company (development of development culture and principles, improvement of standards and regulations, ensuring the quality of development and completion of planned tasks on time);
Technology budget management, ensuring transparency of the cost of various services and services offered by the company;
Recruitment, motivation and team development (KPI formation, assessment systems, grading, etc.). Willingness and interest in scaling the team by attracting, incl. foreign employees (not from the CIS);
Creation of a technical development strategy: cost, stages, terms and resources, finding the best ways to implement the strategy by improving the architecture and integrating third-party services and solutions;
Interaction with outsourcing contractors and technology partners;
Maintaining the smooth operation of IT systems within the company;
Management of IT security issues;
Ensuring the stability of the product and production (UpTime, release management, incident management, operational management, monitoring);
Search and reduction of technological and other risks (including the bus factor).
What is important?
- CTO experience from 5 years in product development with a team of at least 30 people
- Experience in high-load products with a distributed infrastructure
- Development experience in languages from the company's stack (primarily PHP)
- Business Oriented Approach
- Knowledge of English at a level not lower than B2, preferably C1 and above
- Experience in building processes for remote interaction with technical teams
- Willingness to travel
