Imperial Tobacco looking for Head of Tax in Russia and Central Asia Cluster.   Responsibility: 1. Management of tax compliance for ITSM including supervision of preparation of ITSM statutory account tax notes, computations and returns both from a statutory and IFRS perspective
2. Control over all preparation and submission of tax reports.
3. Control over tax books and registers, tax returns and primary accounting documents, tax returns submission to the appropriate tax authorities (CIT, VAT, property, Transfer Pricing, others);
4. Manage tax audits arising in Russia and providing advises for those arising in Central Asia
5. Tax litigations; negotiation with tax authorities, full support when cases are brought to court
6. Tax risk management actions / procedures – validation of material deals / contracts, risk identification and follow-up;
7. Advise and support the business on the tax considerations of acquisitions, disposals, restructuring and simplification and for all material deals.
8. Advise and support on the financing arrangements ensuring that appropriate capital structures are in place (thin cap rules)
9. Consulting/support Cluster and Manufacturing business units (CIT, VAT, TP, tax administration and compliance);
10. Responsible for the full implementation and observance of the Group’s Tax Governance Framework, guaranteeing that that business is supported to ensure tax compliance, risk and opportunities are managed appropriately.
11. Transfer Pricing compliance / expertise – supervision / preparation of local TP documentation and Master Files
12. Monitor legislative changes and developments and ensure the Company is in compliance, minimize risks of penalties / fines;
13. Manage and develop own tax team
14. Provide guidance, training to the finance personnel in Manufacturing and Central Asia
15. Provide tax trainings for non-tax / non-finance, regular legislation updates;
16. Develop and maintain good working relationships with advisors and tax committees of business associations
17. Develop strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure tax is on the agenda for all business decisions
18. Develop constructive relations with the Tax Authorities at the level of local inspections but also Federal Tax Service
19. Lead the project of moving the Russian Legal Entities in the Tax Monitoring Regime.   Requirements: • Previous experience as Head of Tax in Russia, preferably in FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Retail industries. Alternatively previous experience in major consulting firm at the minimum level of Senior Associates, working for clients in the above mentioned sectors.
• Degree or professional qualification in finance, accounting, tax or equivalent
• Strong IFRS and RAS expertise.
• Excellent technical knowledge of Russian tax.
• Proven experience in Tax Litigation
• Preferred: experience in implementation of Tax Monitoring Regime
• To be able to work both independently and as a team member
• To have a keen eye for detail, be pro-active, highly organised and creative.
• Excellent written and spoken Russian and English
• Ability to engage with and explain complex tax issues to non-tax specialists.
• Ability to deal build relationships with multiple stakeholders.

The Device Partner Solution Sales (DPSS) organization works with device ecosystem partners to build, market, and sell a winning portfolio of devices and solutions that delights customers and earns fans around the world. The LDP Account Channel Executive (CE) is a crucial role at Microsoft to help accelerate sales of windows devices services through and with local OEMs. The CE oversees managing one or more accounts at the country level, and the primary responsibilities include: Partner Relationships (30%): Demonstrate good understanding of partners’ business, market dynamics and Microsoft products/value. Develop a deep understanding of the partners’ strategy, business imperatives, and profitability drivers and align strategically with partners key stakeholders on vision of the partnership
Drive end to end relationship with the partner, leveraging the account management process, marketing investments to land the local execution from device assortment and local portfolio, through to the attach of Microsoft software and cloud services
Build trusted advisor relationships with partner(s) through a deep understanding of their local strategy and business imperatives.

Establish and execute a formal RoBs to manage progress of joint commitments, reprioritize, and develop plans for newly identified opportunities Pipeline Management (15%): Develop a One Microsoft approach for the partner to increase Windows devices. Manage partner pipeline and forecast monthly
Execute to achieve revenue, scorecard metrics, and account KPIs
Conduct on-going reviews to ensure follow through on agreed upon accountabilities
Provide local updates to Device Sales team Business Development and Transformation (25%): Understand the partners’ device roadmap, competitive challenges, services vision to identify new business opportunities Maintain an in-depth knowledge of devices, software, channel, and end customers, as well as industry and market trends leveraging Microsoft & industry assets to share with partner(s)
Leverage internal competitive intelligence to help partners identify gaps and emerging trends
For current partners, identify areas of joint opportunity based on current market trends, partners capabilities and local resources
Find and engage new OEMs, distributors, resellers, start-ups etc. and help them transition into Named Account program
Participate in Industry events that include competing platforms and solutions to fully absorb competitive landscape Research, localize and execute applicable best practices to increase the impact on local business. Key Experience: 7+ years of experience in sales in the technology industry with a proven track record in establishing and managing business partnerships between OEM, distributors, and resellers
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in engineering, computer science, or business
Excellent grasp of business fundamentals, channel development, and competitive pressures in the current environment
Aptitude for strategic planning, budget, forecast and project management, as well as tactical execution
Excellent oral and written communication, with the capability of delivering effective executive presentations and negotiate deals
