Degree educated
Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management preferred
Progressive Human Resources Generalist and Leadership experience in a global highly matrixed organisation.
Industry experience gained within one or more of the following; FMCG, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Food, Bio-Tech, Pharmaceuticals or Oil & Gas
Experience of living and working in a number of regions globally. Must also have lived and or worked in or with the Netherlands.
Understanding of, and some experience with, most or all of the core aspects of Human Resource Leadership (strategy, organizational design, staffing; employee relations; performance management; leadership development; training)
Ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items
Previous talent management and succession planning experience preferred
Proven ability to influence decision making
Must possess executive presence
Courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professionalism and poise
Comfortable working in ambiguous business situations
Strong expertise in developing solutions based upon facts/data analytics
Must possess consultative style and approach with proven ability to develop credible relationships with business partners Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present their point of view in varied business situations

Develop and deliver on EEMEA region scientific marketing strategies Ensure that the annual regional marketing plan is in line and achievable with the expected funding levels.
Establish processes to handle marketing funds allocation and track spending.
Collaborate with Global marketing to define the optimal marketing mix that will achieve the performance goals for the region and exploit regional cross-category opportunities. Is a member of the leadership team. Partners extensively with the region’s functional leadership.
Provide broad-based business and marketing function leadership across the region, across the Company, and to the market.
Establish marketing and staffing priorities within the region, working with BU, Global, and region leadership.   The ideal candidate for the Director Marketing position will have: Fifteen (15) plus years of Marketing, BU leadership or Regional Marketing experience including a minimum of 5 years of senior level leadership experience.
Prior hands-on Marketing Leadership experience with a Diagnostics or similar company in emerging and developed markets. Experience in instruments/capital equipment AND reagents a plus.
A consistent record of execution and achievement in Marketing or Market Development role.
Strong leadership and motivational capabilities to maintain team focus, and engagement, and followership.
The ability to influence, relate to, and connect with both front line employee (e.g., sales reps) and C-Level leadership with concise communication that will advance sales opportunities and satisfy customer requirements.
Outstanding analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
