PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Head of Digital Business Services is responsible for managing a wide spectrum of services ranging from expert consulting and premium engagements to innovation services and solutions in a wholistic manner. The person in that role is to be focused on managing the P&L for his results (revenue and marginality) in combination with a high level of customer satisfaction and employee trust and engagement.
Being a part of a complex organizational structure, including local and global organizational entities, it is the responsibility of the DBS Head to establish and maintain working relationships with his peers, a diverse and territorially distributed team, local and regional management.
The role implies representing the Digital Business Services organization in customer interactions (with a focus in C-Level), partner ecosystem, public events and SAP-internal activities.
A successful Head of Digital Business Serivces has to gain a clear understanding of SAP strategy, current priorities and strategic aspirations, transform them into an actionable plan, organize and inspire his organization to execute it.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Achieve the KPIs for his Market Unit. Major focus on P&L.
- Act as a member of the Market Unit and regional management teams. Represent DBS CIS in internal and external events, partner and customer interactions.
- Ensure transparency and predictability of the business on all levels. Maintain highest standards of business integrity and compliance.
- Develop and execute the people agenda aligned with the SAP strategy and DBS priorities
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills
- Solid understanding of the operational and financial aspects of running a services business. P&L awareness and ownership.
- Strong leader at both the strategic and tactical levels, sees and articulates the bigger picture.
- Executional Excellence: Ability to consistently achieve results and exceed targets.
- Comfortable working at the most senior levels of SAP’s client organizations, commonly in or around the boardroom. Ability to manage stress and conflic.
- Experience of managing effectively in a networked and matrixed team environment.
- Regional travel and fluency in English and Russian required.

- Multi region and global experience — ability to understand extremely varied cultural and business environments.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- The ideal candidate would have over 10 years of experience with running a professional services organization in SAP environment.
- Experience with managing a sizeable P&L (30+ mEur).
- Experience of manageing a diverse and territorially distributed team in a matrix structure (200+ employees).
