This is a position for energetic and ambitious IT Recruiter who wants to bring his career to the next level and become a key player in the growing International high-tech company UpTeam and grow into Head of Talent.
You will lead the formation of new development teams by sourcing top experts in Russia and Eastern European job markets.
UpTeam is DevTeam Accelerator specializing in setting and running development teams for Silicon Valley funded start-ups and corporate innovators.
Responsibilities:
Manage the selection process for both project based and home office based positions, including requisition management, development of position descriptions and recruitment strategy, candidate selection, reference and background checks, salary negotiations, and the facilitation of the on-boarding process.
Conduct recruitment strategy meetings with Hiring Managers to ensure a complete understanding of the job requirements, candidate matches, and the qualifications needed to fill the role. Use findings to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies, assessments, and closing approaches.
Conduct thorough candidate prescreening interviews and recommend highly qualified and diverse candidates who meet the requirements for the role.
Negotiate the compensation rate and packages with long-term and short-term consultants, project staff, and home office staff.
Provide daily/weekly reports to hiring managers on a timely basis regarding status relating to all positions; including outreach and response for each position as needed. We will help you to automate the reporting process, so you will still need to ensure the up-to-date information input.
Serve as UpTeam representative to candidates. Manage regular communication with contacted and proposed candidates in order to build a network and long-term relationships. Notify candidates should they not be selected as finalists and maintain regular communication with proposed candidates after submission of a proposal and after notification of award success
Maintain a consistent and professional candidates bound web presence on company web-site and SNs
Develop and facilitate training for hiring managers on the recruiting process and provide periodic training to management staff on recruitment and onboarding best practices.
Continually assess the effectiveness of the recruitment & onboarding processes, research best practices, obtain feedback from new hires and hiring managers, and utilize data to refine and improve the processes over time.
Develop creative ideas and innovative recruiting techniques to source qualified professionals and a diverse talent pool. (i.e., social media, employee referrals, direct contact recruiting, internet data mining, job boards, and internal/external networks)
Develop easy to use recruitment templates and forms (CV templates, reference check forms, common email templates, How-Tos, recruitment manuals, etc.)
Evaluate and improve recruitment and related processes.
Manage the Applicant Tracking Systems and database of consultants
Work closely with business managers as the Lead Recruiter to anticipate upcoming recruitment activities.
Consult business managers on possibilities to close new positions and assist with creating timeline and budgets for clients proposals
Assist senior technical staff in determining finalist candidates, based on the skill set of the short-listed candidates against proposal positions/requirements and assessment of the overall proposed team.
Oversee the customization of CVs for bids and train staff on this; ensure the CV addresses proposal requirements; Format and tailor CVs and develop well-crafted bioblurbs for each proposed candidate according to the position and solicitation qualifications;
Build and maintain a network of agencies and 3rd party recruiters
Required Skills and Expertise
5+ years experience in IT recruiting
Fluent in Google Docs/Jira/Slack/Social Networks/LinkedIn
Experience in working in a distributed team with US managers with ability to handle business communications until 21:00 CET, 1-2 times a week.
Proven experience in working with C-level executives.
Demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed, results-oriented environment at a fast pace; Ability to prioritize tasks, organize large volume of work, perform independently; Proven organizational skills, with the ability to undertake multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Understanding of compliance requirements and best practices for recruitment and hiring; Able to research and learn employment law for various countries within the regions supported by this position
Proven experience demonstrating the ability to act independently on assigned tasks and to exercise good judgement and flexibility with shifting priorities while serving the needs of employees and organization.
Ability to problem solve and work effectively in a very fast paced environment with multiple competing priorities in a global business culture.
Experience working with an applicant tracking system or customer relationship management software required.
Strong communication skills (written and spoken) required. Fluent Russian and English language skills are required; fluency in a 3rd language strongly preferred (helpful languages Polish, Czech, Romanian, Spanich, Italian, Greek).
