About the job
Located in an upmarket residential area with close proximity to Moscow City, 2 minutes walk from Kutuzovsky Avenue, which boasts some of the best social infrastructure in the city famous parks, high end restaurants, bars and luxury shopping outlets, SO/ Moscow will have 134 Keys including 17 service apartments and will feature a variety of offerings including 2 restaurants, 2 bars, lounge areas, and coworking spaces.
Other highlights include recreational and wellness facilities such as a fitness center with panoramic pool, yoga, functional training rooms, and a SO/ spa. Apart from hotel guests, hotel services will also be available for residents of the 17 “Poklonnaya 9” apartments, making the building truly a leading lifestyle hub in Moscow.
The hotel’s public spaces and guestrooms will be designed by the Rockwell Group. Striving to provide a unique design and standout atmosphere, Rockwell Group has chosen to explore Russian fairytales as a key creative driver for the project, which will be brought to life through bright colors, unique materials and fabrics, as well as interior items.
The Position
Reporting into the Area Genera Manager, Luxury Russia, the General Manager is in charge of the pre-opening critical path, and will oversee the day to day operations of the hotel in accordance with company standards, mission statement, vision and values. The maximization of guest satisfaction, financial performance, and Brand colleagues development is an integral part of the position. Furthermore it is essential to work closely with the Area General Manager Luxury Russia in the development and communication of strategies, goals and objectives as well as the development, implementation and monitoring of financial and operational plans for the hotels while, managing, growing and fostering positive owner relations and maximizing performance.

Qualifications
Prior 5+ years experience in luxury hotel management essential
Previous experience in international luxury hospitality company
Strong match with Accorhotels Inspiring Leader capability framework
Strong Educational background
Hotel opening experience
Fluent in English and Russian
Good understanding of the local market, previous experience preferred specially in Lifestyle luxury
F&B background
Experience with owners relationship
Must be strategic, creative and able to clearly communicate how plans will deliver on overall goals
Excellent speaking and presentation skills
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal & communication skills
Adaptable & flexible with the capacity to set high goals and standards for the smooth operation of the hotel
