Senior Director (Program Management).
The Senior Director (Program Management) will be responsible for defining and delivering on the Digital Technology (DT) strategy for repair shops across GE Gas Power, including but not limited to digital thread. This role will be responsible for all DT program execution leadership for Supply Chain enterprise systems incl. LPM, SmartShop, Kronos, ERP and Lean program MGPP and deployment. Additionally, the leader will coordinate and lead with the CTO and CISO teams the connected machine strategy/OT strategy for contemporary repair sites. The IT leader is responsible for the delivery of highly complex cross disciplined programs that span multiple organizations, various stakeholders. This person will lead, develop the global DT team in support of the overall Supply Chain SQDC targets. Additionally, this role will also lead the digital transformation of the shop floor automation and be responsible for driving the product discovery and product delivery of the overall IT software development strategy for the GSC IT ecosystem.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Value Stream Lean, Quality and Engineering leaders to define and execute the transformation and productivity roadmap
- Work with the Senior Leadership teams of the factories in scope
- Define, Plan, and Implement the Manufacturing 4.0 digital strategy leveraging cloud and cloud native strategies
- Define and Execute the Shopfloor Digitization Program with special focus on GSC Mfg ecosystem and connected Repair lines
- Identifies the customer need and the larger business objectives that a product or feature will fulfill; create strategic roadmap and translates business strategy into product strategy & work with customers/stakeholders to prioritize needs
- Articulates what success looks like for a product and rallies a team to turn that vision into a reality
- Collaborate with software development teams to establish standard software delivery processes and rigor, implementing lean and agile in parallel
- Establish and Operationalize a framework that encourages innovation in all digital solutions development and deployments
- Evangelize new opportunities possible with technology investment; challenge status quo and drive data/digital disruption
- Lead and Coach the product discovery and delivery managers and teams
- Support the daily operations, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Repair sites’ digital products/solutions
- Work with the Regional CTO Leaders to ensure infrastructure and equipment that’s needed for repair shops and the supply chain user base
- Plan and track budget needed for operations and investment to support the above mentioned priorities
- Control and ensure the compliance of the vendor management that’s needed to deliver the priorities
- Lead cross-discipline, global teams to establish an integrated plan to deliver team commitments
- Leverage your domain expertise; you are expected to further the knowledge and improve productivity of your colleagues with activities such as creating learning content, sharing best practices across sites digital products and processes, and supporting a continuous learning culture
Required Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- A minimum of 10 years of experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines such as ERP, MES, Supply Chain digitization, IT Transformation, and IT Project/ Program Management
- Significant years of professional experience in Software Development Project Management including large portfolio leading cross functional initiatives and organizations
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Must be willing to work out of key GE office located in the country/region
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability of working with executive-level stakeholders to define, lead, and implement process and tools strategy to drive process improvement changes
- GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed
- Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activities
