Minimum qualifications:
- Current student of a legal degree from a Russian University and maintaining student status throughout the internship or member of a study program post-graduation that requires legal training.
- Experience in legal analysis and research.
- Ability to speak and write in English and Russian fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications:
- Work experience in a law firm or in a media/technology company.
- Experience in data protection, copyright, technology or media law.
- Experience building relationships and communicating with people at all levels.
- Experience working on numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in technology and IT-relevant legal problems and recent developments.
- Ability to start in Q4 2019 for a 12 month contract.

Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on a variety of legal topics, including intellectual property, consumer regulations, media regulations, advertising law, data protection, etc.
- Respond to various legal requests from users and third-parties in relation to Google services and resolve internal escalations.
- Assist the Legal team in the preparation and management of court actions and in subsequent analysis.
- Assist in a variety of projects, such as marketing assessments and the review and drafting of agreements.
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of internal knowledge databases for the Legal team.
