Nike is searching for an Inventory Manager — Marketplace Operations.
What You Will Work On:
Lead and develop a small high-performing team through the Nike Leadership Defined Model and steward the culture of belonging including quarterly check-ins
Accoutable for the seasonal End to End inventory management processes for your country
Own, track, and improve Supply Chain performance indicators to maximize service, cost, convenience and inventory for the country and support business decisions with partners
Manage the health of the inventory (DSI), ensure on-time and in-full replenishment of our own Nike stores demand or our partner demand
Define & execute the Inventory strategy in collaboration with the country team and EHQ based MPU’s
Drive continuous process improvement, find opportunities on operational / tactical level and initiate root cause analysis
Partner cross-functionally within Nike (Sales, Logistics, Planning, Brand, Merchandising) and leverage the Express Lane best practices, guidelines and systems where applicable
Establish efficient inventory management processes to plan and deliver seasons and inspire change through digitalization across the team
The role reports direct to the Marketplace Operations & Logistics Director Russia
Who You Will Work With:
You’ll work in a cross-functional, agile environment that spans across EMEA and services the MPU’s operational business needs. You’ll be reporting into the Supply Chain Director (Marketplace Operations Director) and will work closely with your MPU partners including Sales, planning, logistics, and some external partners. Lead, inspiring and manage a team of supply chain specialists. These reports can be direct, or even a virtual team that you work with as individual contributor
What You Bring:
5+ years’ experience in a supply chain, allocation, planning, or store leadership role for a Retail or Consumer Goods business, with progressive responsibilities and a track record in delivering results
3+ years’ experience leading a broad and diverse team
Expertise in analytics, performance management and people development
Experience in building, leading and developing (direct and virtual) diverse teams
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate and influence various levels within a matrix structure and multinational teams
Wide and deep understanding of Supply Chain Management and general business knowledge
Advances proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Deep analytical, problem-solving and change-management skills
Proficiency in English
Travel requirements — 5% of time.
