What will you work on?
The Consumer Direct Acceleration strategy has resulted in an org simplification that will build a Global/Geo/City matrix in which each entity has more clearly delineated roles & responsibilities. Our Marketing Director in Moscow will lead a city, which goals are to become more autonomous and build a marketing team, who will ultimately humanize our brand globally and serve the member community in the city.
The core responsibilities:
Humanizing our brand through Brand Management and Catalyst Brand Management functions, crafted to identify & manage purposeful relationships on the ground with key communities, athletes, and athletes* that move the city forward through sport*.
Engaging members with cultural moments focusing on activity (movement), crafting close connections with our city consumer, and reimagining the future of sport* in the process. You will build deeper member relationships through.
Hyper-local editorial content influencing our relationships at targeted moments to engage members and show them the brand’s human footprint in the city.
Targeting “in real life” moments for the members that love us the most, maximizing the key assets & relationships we hold as a brand.
Leading and mentoring the marketing team, encouraging an inclusive environment while recruiting and developing energetic talent into our future leaders.
Essential requirements:
A proven experience of 8 years in brand and/or brand functional management
Prior experience in multiple brand marketing/brand strategy fields, able to define and understand the full spectrum of the city consumer, and a desire to better connect with them on all dimensions of sports performance and lifestyle
Team leadership experience with minimum 3 years of people management experience
Prior execution of cross-functional, brand-defining Global / EMEA campaigns
Prior experience managing a budget of a minimum of $2m
Prior experience sitting on a country leadership team, working with teammates to provide strategic and operational leadership to the broader business
Previous experience using a mix of local data, insights, and knowledge to effectively construct and drive our brand narrative
Prior marketing experience in Moscow and a demonstrable understanding of the consumer, the city, and Nike’s position within it, with a track record of making strategic marketing decisions within this environment.
