They are looking for a
project manager who will open a new office in Dubai (about 4,000 sq.m.). A full-scale project that includes building an IT infrastructure from scratch, as well as building all the business systems of a new branch of a large international company.
The team will include: a team with expertise in opening, providing and maintaining current offices, a corporate architecture team with experience in building infrastructure and information systems, the head of the AHO, who leads the project for the reconstruction and repair of the premises. Work with local contractors in the direction of construction and IT.
What is to be done:
- Close all questions on IT (engineering infrastructure, organization of jobs, migration of the infrastructure part, setting up basic information systems that will be used by employees in this office).
- Manage a project team: organizing well-coordinated, productive work aimed at results, monitoring the progress of work, building communications within the team.
- Identify, document and analyze project risks, develop and implement plans to eliminate or mitigate them.
- Conduct a full selection of performers. Work out the issue of suppliers and equipment. Carry out comparative procedures (there are partners with whom we have already worked or are working now). The management staff is all Russian-speaking, ordinary local specialists.
For the company it is important:
- Experience in the role of IT project manager (infrastructure or digital background as an advantage).
- Strong knowledge of the basic principles of building an IT landscape, experience in determining RTO / RPO, the main levers for achieving the continuity of information systems (BIA as an advantage).
- English, not lower than level C1
- Experience in similar projects in the Persian Gulf will be a plus
