As a Recruiting Lead, you will own the hiring needs for a set of industry and functional practice areas. As you immerse yourself in emerging talent pools across the specific practice areas you hire for, you will develop close relationships with BCG leadership and peer recruiters. You will play a central role in bringing top talent across industries and functions into the organization, enabling BCG to deliver client solutions that have lasting impact on companies, industries, and society.
As a Recruiter supporting industry and functional practice areas, you will:
Be responsible for a designated number of Experienced hiring targets for roles within the specific practice areas: General track, Digital BCG Accelerator Systems
Manage the team of 2 Recruiters
Contribute to the definition of and actively shape and lead execution of recruiting strategies in partnership with key business stakeholders, including practice area leaders, system and office leadership, and the Recruiting Manager
Manage the end-to-end candidate journey and experience: sourcing, screening and selection, offer, conversion and hire
Ensure diversity, equity and inclusion strategies and principles are incorporated throughout the steps in the hiring process, from pipeline development to conversion
Manage the relationship and be the main point of contact with key business stakeholders in designated practice areas. Engage with these business stakeholders as a trusted partner who has a deep understanding of the talent requirements and the work BCG does.
Actively build talent pipelines to fill current and future roles
Leverage Recruiters on the team to build and maintain pipeline of potential candidates for certain roles (including passive candidates) and assess skills, capabilities and interest in BCG
Mine referral and direct application candidates for current and future pipeline
Leverage existing and new relationships to identify movement of talent in the market, and recommend candidates to appropriate roles in BCG
Leverage data-driven analytics and reporting to:
Provide updates to key business stakeholders to drive decisions and shape recruiting activities
Identify opportunities for continuous growth and improvement to achieve KPIs
Team with the Center of Excellences to improve BCG’s recruiting processes (e.g., candidate identification, screening & evaluation) and make more efficient & effective
Support other practice areas or businesses as needs fluctuate
Education or Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
Work experience:
6+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience; a combination of both agency and in house recruiting experience preferred
Must have experience with and be comfortable simultaneously managing the 15+ unique requisitions at various stages of the recruiting process with a sense of urgency and without sacrificing quality
Experience in a professional services organization is highly advantageous
Computer Skills
Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office programs on a regular basis as tools to do your job efficiently. This includes: Excel (Intermediate skills required) PowerPoint, Outlook & Word
English – written and verbal
Key qualifications:
Ability to build deep knowledge and insight on candidate pools in complex sector/ functional topics
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills; able to adapt both for audience
Strong business acumen, intellectual curiosity, judgment, and communication/advisory skills
