Must Have Experience
5+ years of work experience in leading a Technical Sales Team / Business Development Team or similar.
Engineering or Economics University Degree
MUST have Industry experience — Video Streaming, OTT or similar technology vertical and Software Platform or SaaS Business.
Interest for the Media and Technology industry. Prior knowledge and experience of working in the TV or OTT Video industry.
Black book” of contacts in the TV and video industry across Russia and Eastern Europe
Must Have Behaviours
A go getting & hunter approach — you will engage all types of clients (big broadcasters/telcos and small startups)
Both Strategic and Hands On
Ability to work with ambiguity and create structure & direction
Responsibilities of VP Sales:
Sales of OTT, content personalization and video streaming technologies to prospective clients and partners globally
Manage the Sales and business development team (Employees, Consultants & Re-Sellers)
Build the Broadcaster, Sales Agent & Re-Seller Network
Prospect new business and projects, approaching new and existing clients — a hands on approach of presentations & demos
Perform market analysis to identify new verticals and segments to target, customer and competitor analysis
Drive the sales & commercial strategy & given input to the product strategy
Leading of the early technical engagement with clients such as identification of technical requirements and scoping of product/service
Regular reports on customer interactions, results and project status
Account management of client relationships
