Сервис такси Gett ищет VP RnD.

 

Gett is looking for an experienced leader with at least 10+ years of relevant track record in engineering, general management, and people leadership. As a Head of RnD, you will inspire your team and engage them towards Gett’s vision and mission, as well as ensure they are on a fulfilling personal and professional development journey.
You will lead execution within the BizOps domain - one of the three core Gett product domains. In addition, you will lead the overall site in Russia in terms of people engagement and well-being, as a de-facto site manager, and will work closely with the CTO to expand team across Eastern Europe.

 

Organization and Team:

  • Reporting to Israel-based CTO, Yaki Zakai, ex-Amazon, an inspiring leader with 20+ years of experience
  • Leading a team of ca. 100 people, with growth opportunities across Russia and CIS
  • Direct team: 4-6 team leaders, domain architect
  • Indirect management: Partner and mentor to Demand and Infrastructure team leaders located in RU (reporting to managers located in Israel) and a site leader for their respective teams
  • Location: overall remote/distributed team across Russia and Eastern Europe, mainly located in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Company has physical offices in Moscow Sady Pekina co-working
  • Peers: heads of Productivity, Demand, and Marketplace engineering, CPMO, VP Application Security. Exceptionally talented and international team with track record across Microsoft. Amdocs, HP Enterprise, Israel Air Force, and other top notch employers
  • Other stakeholders: Chief Product Officer, VP Marketplace Operations, Chief Operating Officer, etc.

  • Engineering culture and hiring standards
  • Delivery of high quality, successful products on time and budget
  • Contribute to overall architecture & technology stack
  • Compliance with engineering standards

Requirements:

  • Inspiring people leader with a track record of developing high performing teams >50 people
  • Obsessed with technology and engineering culture
  • Successful track record with tech stack relevant to Gett
  • Commercial acumen to understand the impact of technology on the business
  • Overall >10-15 years of engineering experience
  • Training from top-notch engineering schools/companies
  • International customer and SaaS experience is a strong advantage
  • Combination of start-up and large enterprise experience is an advantage
  • Exclude government sector and other large bureaucratic organizations
