Person coming into this role will be responsible for maximizing the value of the product and work of the Development team. Accountable for managing the Product Backlog, including adding/removing/grooming items and defining their priorities.
Responsibilities
Responsible for maximizing the value of the product and work of the Development team.
Accountable for managing the Product Backlog, including adding/removing/grooming items and defining their priorities.
Communicates vision of the Product Manager to their scrum team and is responsible for prioritizing the product backlog to accomplish that vision.
Participates in all Agile activities including backlog grooming, sprint planning and sprint review.
Work with the team to groom backlog items: define acceptance criteria, help the team split and estimate stories.
Chooses the right balance between feature development and technical (NFR) work to keep the product competitive.
Available as needed to assist the scrum team with product questions and is given authority to make decisions about product features.
Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in in related field or equivalent experience in software development tasks.
4 plus years of related work experience for mid-level role
8 plus years of related work experience for a senior level role
Excellent leadership and organizational skills
Strong ability to understand technical issues at a high level
Demonstrates strong accountability
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate as a change agent, influencing and driving action organizationally
Highly Desired Skills
Experience with MTS (Money Transfer System) product.
