As an Xbox Category manager in the EMEA Gaming Category team, you will plan and support execution of category marketing and sales plans for Xbox Accessories, land the right assortment with partners across EMEA and manage the Xbox internal planning Rhythm of Business across Xbox product lines and across EMEA geographies.
Responsibilities
Business Management & Run of Business
Developing & driving the rhythm of the business for the Xbox EMEA HQ Category team, which includes
Developing and maintaining an annual ROB calendar based on key deliverables like plan reviews or monthly business reviews and identifying and managing the processes leading up to these meetings.
Developing agendas and coordinating inputs from various stakeholders for weekly calls with our regional teams, moderating/facilitating those calls and driving follow-ups
Ownership of a weekly business summary newsletter explaining the state of the business and sharing of key activities
Define and own a best practice sharing process that allows us to grow successful local programs beyond the borders of just one region
Coordinate our Event presence across EMEA together with our agency and the global content teams
Xbox Accessories Category Management
Ownership of the Xbox Accessories category. This includes taking responsibility for the revenue management of a large-scale pan-EMEA business in partnership with our regional teams.
Maintaining revenue outlooks & forecasts on a weekly basis
Aligning revenue outlooks with production forecasts and securing product supply in partnership with our Operations & Supply teams
Keeping our product release database up to date in partnership with the global product management teams and working with the operations teams to communicate street dates & price lists to our retail partners
Working with our Marcom teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive sales in partnership with our regional teams
Provide detailed and informative updates on competitive go-to-market strategies and tactics. Use this analysis and insight to influence Xbox USPs and marketing.
Present category and market insights, best practices and learnings to the gaming BG and WW Category team to aid global product and category planning
Coordinate promotional activities, act as point of contact for the field teams, distribute assets and drive follow ups to evaluate the ROI
Provide category analytics and consumer insights to support the field teams to build strong Category plans and enable them to become trusted advisors to key retail and marketing partners
Partner with Channel Marketing and Sales teams to optimize channel footprint and to increase sales and attach through proximity placements, best-in-class executions and always-on instore & online marketing
Own the central samples management process for key product releases
Qualifications
Passion for Gaming and the Xbox Brand
Strong project management skills (identifying steps needed to get to a desired outcome and leading the teams thru those steps)
Ability to summarize complex business situations and to remove complexities

Previous experience in the consumer electronics industry, gaming industry, retail category management, or like business. Experience with devices sales in consumer channels a plus.
