А software development company Access Softek is looking for a Vice President of Engineering.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Motivate the team with approx. 50-100 engineers
Recommends new technology and ideas to improve sprints and efficiency.
Build, develops, and manages the engineering team capable of carrying out initiatives.
Effectively manage engineering organization, software development, and delivery practices
Own global engineering staffing decisions
Contribute to technical direction and key decisions
Expectations:
Help identify, prioritize, and drive optimizations in our software development and delivery practice
Bring the experience to bear on our various goals: single-version-in-production, automation-first, cloud-optimized, API first development, etc
Align development and quality assurance efforts
Drive automation-first transformation
Remove week-to-week engineering org oversight from CTO and VP Product, so we can focus on our main roles
Excellent communication and alignment with US-based executive team CTO, CEO, VP Product
Required Experience:
Multiple years experience in leading and developing software teams, being international is a plus.
Strong communication skills and assertiveness when working with teams
Strong product quality orientation
Experience with cloud transformation projects
Experience in operating in agile/scrum development environment
Software engineering background in backend and/or front development and good knowledge of the С# and .NET ecosystem as a plus
Good English Skills spoken and written are required
Analytical and problem-understanding thinking.
