Google is seeking a Vertical Lead (Search & Commerce, gTech).
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Search specialists responsible for driving strategy and execution to help advertisers meet their business objectives. Set the vision, enable execution, and inspire each team member to perform.
- Be a hands-on coach for your team and provide mentorship and meaningful career evaluations and facilitate professional development plans.
- Drive a customer-centric culture by pivoting all solutions around Customer Objectives (COs), in close partnership with Sales. Prioritize and build capabilities accordingly and be the face of gCare MediaOps for your verticals.
- Build operational rigor and foundational processes to deliver consistent and critical outputs that meet business objectives effectively.
- Contribute to and own the strategy and execution for your team, including in areas such as stakeholder management, talent recruitment, on-boarding, upskilling, vendorization, automation, operational efficiency, and measuring effectiveness.
Minimum qualifications:
- Experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
- Experience leading a team, including coaching, mentoring, and team development.
- Ability to speak and write in English and Russian fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience creating annual business and investment plans.
- Ability to manage highly strategic and challenging business problems.
- Track record of thought leadership in applying data-driven insights to have a tangible impact on business performance.
- Transformational leadership and forward-thinking approach; ability to challenge the status quo effectively to drive organizational change.
