We are looking for a Venture Partner to help growing up our venture capital in the UAE and MENA region. You will regularly meet with general partners to assess needs, source the resources to address those needs and follow up to ensure delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and 6+ year’s experience with venture capital, including working with startups, finding limited partners, and helping portfolio companies grow.
As a Venture Partner at Sinteza VC you are the mastermind and owner of our Ventures' product vision in the UAE and MENA region, working with our teams to cut through the noise and build impactful and scalable products from inception of the idea to market launch.

In this role you will:
• Attend startup and limited partner networking events
• Influence all areas of the business and successfully execute our ventures
• Drive and align product vision and articulate product strategy for our corporate ventures across all stakeholders, ensuring that the product roadmap is aligned with the venture vision
• Champion the MVP concept, distilling the product down to what is desirable, viable and feasible
• In some ventures, assume the role of the interim general manager responsible for the successful execution of the entire venture
• Act as the voice of the customer in the definition of innovative digital solutions as well as ensure the use of best practices in the development delivery of these solutions
• Evaluate trade-offs, identify and resolve issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial and technical goals
• Lead the strategic planning and prioritization of the product roadmap, taking into consideration capital spend against budget
• Establish Key Performance Indicators to demonstrate the product is making progress towards product market fit and track product usage and growth
• Drive alignment of product strategy between the venture team and key stakeholders
• Inspire, lead and coach our product management cohort at DV, developing the careers and capabilities of all team members with goal-based structured mentoring
• Develop and present new business proposals as well as operating plans
• Act as the primary point of contact in partner and client discussions
• Coordinate the hiring and staffing of project teams
You should have:
• 6+ years of experience building, launching projects end-to-end using agile methodologies
• Working knowledge of venture capital and startup investing
• Board level experiences
• Experience as an angel or venture investor
• Ability to thrive in a fast-growing business
• Experience working in MENA region
• Experience and familiarity working in corporate or enterprise environments and managing C-level stakeholders
• Well-rounded understanding of all aspects required to bring a product and business to market, including market analysis, MVP and product-market fit, positioning, go-to-market, pricing, testing, iterating based on feedback, legals, operations and finance etc
• Well-versed in weighing competing priorities, managing trade-offs and evaluating new ideas with stakeholders, driving to consensus while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities
• The ability to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually-demanding and service-oriented environment
• Strong communicator with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to think creatively, strategically and resourcefully
• A diligent attention to detail and strong technical intuition
• Proactive attitude to tackle any opportunity or challenge
• Upper-Intermediate knowledge of English (Written and verbal),
