PEPSICO is seeking a Value Realization Director of Value Lifecycle to power up the team.

 

Job Description

PepsiCo Data & Analytics provides end-to-end products that focus on having the right data and insights at the right time and accessible for the right people and processes across the globe. We view these assets as a unique competitive advantage to delight our consumers and create a catalyst for a PepsiCo data-driven culture. The Value Realization team will create the next generation of business value as the connection between global leaders and the PepsiCo Data & Analytics organization. We will achieve this by driving desired business outcomes across the value chain with consistent processes to track, measure, and optimize the value of our Data & Analytics portfolio.

The Value Lifecycle pillar within Value Realization encompasses value discovery, assessment, categorization, measuring, monitoring and visibility as a key enabler of PepsiCo. This is a new function for PepsiCo that will work across all aspects of PepsiCo’s Value Chain, our Data & Analytics team, and the corporate Strategy & Transformation organization. This team will develop the KPIs to track and measure value across short-term product KPIs and long-term strategic benefits in partnership with our global business and IT leaders. They will provide visibility to sustainable value drivers for Data & Analytics solutions based on their state of business maturity and D&A capability investment. The Value Lifecycle team will discover where value drivers are shared across sectors and markets, while providing businesses intelligence to accelerate market/BU capabilities based on how value is being delivered to our customers and consumers. Value Realization will help our PepsiCo partners unlock the best opportunities to lift, adapt, and scale solutions to solve unique business challenges and optimize overall PepsiCo operations, while
providing a consistent framework that can adapt to function and market level needs.

 

Accountabilities

Define global value realization strategy, framework, models and communications as it relates to Data & Analytics discovery, business maturity assessments, KPI definition, monitoring, and measuring.
Explicitly pinpoint the set of KPIs specific to functional investments and implement a continuous value measuring and communication lifecycle that can evolve with business agility over time.
Develop value plans that measure tangible quantitative value vs. perceived or qualitative measures across the areas of growth, productivity, efficiency, customer satisfaction and stakeholder sentiments.
Build a “pivot or persevere” mindset into the value realization methodology to enable quick decision making when solutions are either not achieving the aligned value or are ready to scale and industrialize.
Embed a culture of continuous value reporting and communications using D&A tools that provide accurate and timely KPI reporting to key stakeholders.
Align communication methods and cadence with global partners to ensure value realization tools have retained adoption and loyalty.
Build Value Realization strategic operating plans in alignment with the corporate Value Realization Office (VRO) and global business imperatives.
Adjust and evolve value measures and practices based on business agility to ensure KPIs reflect current cross-functional business outcomes.
Mobilize a team of experts with a mix of internal and external expertise to execute the value lifecycle while delivering the aligned value of business investments.
Partner across the internal Value Realization and PepsiCo Data & Analytics teams to share priorities, value management progress and value realization results.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Change Management, or Business; Master’s Degree a plus
Ideally 10+ years of related experience
5+ years of Value Management/Realization experience driving transformation and optimization across functional areas
5+ years’ experience in CPG or Retail Industry experience
Seasoned leadership skills defining methodologies and leading teams to create value practices and models at scale in a corporate environment comparable to PepsiCo
Ability to manage employees and vendor resources across multiple geographies
Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills to support Sr. Leaders with defining relevant KPIs, monitoring, communication frameworks, and change management
Confident, makes decisions and inspires confidence in the teams he/she is accountable for providing direction
Strategic thinker, can easily define short-term and long-term plans and rapidly translate into action
Ability to manage by influencing in a complex matrix environment
Effectively communicates complex Data & Analytics concepts and solutions to Sr. Leaders
Understands and keeps current with emerging technologies and value stream management trends and finds innovative ways to apply these to our business
Inspires and builds the next generation of PepsiCo leaders, leveraging a desire to create a diverse team of talent.
