PepsiCo looking for Marketing and Innovation Director.

 

What You’ll Do:

You will be in charge of leading LAB’s Portfolio Strategy and Joint Planning support with Franchise for 9 Bottlers & 15+ Dist across LRB Portfolio.
Align with brands, agency and bottlers in view of the brand’s strategic and year targets being the custodian of the Brand position for the market
Support Franchise in JP with Bottlers inc Three Year leading Demand Space analysis as a framework to align portfolio with bottlers, AOP planning leading the brand funding for the agreed initiatives, Top to Top Performance review with Bottler Sr. Executive Leaders sharing Portfolio performance and critical issues to solve for and Qrtly course correction meetings and guiding tradeoffs needed to optimize coop spending.
In charge of leading Brand/product Innovation and communications agenda for 9 Bottlers & 15+ Dist across LRB Portfolio (immediate and midterm innovation 1-3 years scope)
Lead innovation agenda for LAB Central Markets with Bottlers and Distributors including new products and categories as well as the innovation pipeline for the existing brands inc Core work in Reframe/ Sugar Red.
Support Franchise in JP with the Bottlers to secure innovation alignment, milestones and investments needed to deliver Innovation agenda.

 

Accountabilities:
Develop – jointly with the Regional CMO – the long-term portfolio strategy across LAB C markets
Ensure marketing communications and innovation plans are properly executed
Leadership in determining research, systems tracking and reporting tools to aid decision making relative to touch-point strategy
Alignment of Region, Market and agencies
Brand plan delivery tracking and optimization during the year
Agency management
Actively participate in negotiations / Joint Planning with key stakeholders (including bottlers’ CEOs)
Lead marketing effectiveness effort together with LAB strategy
Generate, filter, quantify, refine all innovations for all LAB Central markets (Central America, Caribbean, Colombia, Ecuador)
Develop business plans for internal sale of the innovations
Work together with marketing team in bottler in the launch of these innovations
Lead implementation and become key gatekeeper for Stage-gate/ Innovation process, aligning all functions behind the innovation projects
Define, together with Insights and bottler, optimum research plan to qualify different innovation types
Develop strong innovation-based PSP plans for the portfolio
Drive sustainability agenda in the innovation pipeline

 

Qualifications/Requirements
What you will bring:
Communications or Business background (undergrad basic, MBA valued but not essential) with skew to Marketing/ Communication
Minimum of 10 years of marketing and/or strategy/ innovation experience
Strong intellectual curiosity and a drive for entrepreneurship and for innovation
Strong strategic profile/ drive
Financial knowledge to understand ROI assessments of different initiatives
Agency management
Research fundamentals mastery
Strong leadership inc. Situational leadership, negotiation and team building skills
Influence competency
Strong project management skills and full understanding of the stage gate model
Strong ideation, conceptualization skills
Strong knowledge of systems economics for LAB North businesses
Franchise Model understanding
English fluency
