1. Senior Product Manager
What you'll be doing:
Guide the product philosophy, vision, and roadmap for features and tools that allow users to discover and launch Activities embedded inside Discord
Prioritize and balance the needs of consumers and developers by delivering unique platform capabilities to drive reach, retention, engagement and revenue without detracting from the core user experience
Work closely with internal studios and first party developers to bootstrap platform while prioritizing third parties where strategically relevant
Work with teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists to build delightful outstanding products
Work with other product and engineering groups to create a connected vision for building a 10x content platform of the future
Partner with other product teams across Discord, such as Apps, Revenue and more
Empathize with dozens of personas and use-cases, and think user-first
What you should have:
Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, excited about finding solutions to complex problems, and then executing on them
6+ years of experience building and shipping great consumer software, primarily as a product manager, driving prioritization, trade-offs, and timelines
Proven track record of achieving impact through solving challenging consumer problems with innovative solutions
Proven ability to analyze and synthesize data, including writing SQL
Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with engineers
Strong product sense and pride in understanding your customers

2. Head of Strategic Platform Partnerships
What you'll be doing:
Navigate and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers at leading global technology platform companies (ie. Microsoft, Google, Apple, Sony, Amazon)
Develop a holistic platform partnership strategy by working with our internal product and marketing teams to understand the needs of the business and aligning those needs to our top partners’ goals
Articulate and refine Discord value proposition, to secure partner commitments to enter into mutually beneficial, sustainable relationships
Develop forecasts and models to measure the value and impact of potential partnerships
Lead the full life-cycle of partnership execution from initial partner engagement through deal structure, close and onboarding
Work with internal cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, operations, legal and product to ensure partner success and drive important KPIs
Mentor, motivate and develop team of business development and account management professionals
What you should have:
15+ years of proven experience in business development and partnerships experience
Important network of senior contacts within tech industry and a reputation for being a trusted partner
Knowledge of digital media and tech trends and an informed perspective on consumer applications of such trends
Exceptional communications skills (verbal and written) with the ability to inspire and engage C-level executives
Experience leading motivated teams and structuring complex partnerships
Desire to work in a dynamic start-up environment which requires the ability to pivot quickly, multi-task and ruthlessly prioritization of projects and resources
