Job purpose:
To handle the tasks and responsibilities of the daily treasury procedures and operations, ensuring smooth payment procedures for customers, while developing necessary banking relationships. Jobholder shall also monitor transactions execution and manage documentation required for accounting processing of these transactions.
Key accountabilities:
- Strategy: Implement department strategies in conjunction with corporate guidelines and objectives ensuring achievement of corporate organization's strategies
- Budget and Plans: Implement the department budget and maintain financial performance versus the approved budget, ensuring that the department is aware of anticipated costs and that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified for performance improvement opportunities
Education:
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or any related discipline is required
- Relevant professional certification such as CPA or CFA is preferred
- Advanced English language proficiency is required
Experience:
- Minimum of seven years work experience with at least three of which in a relevant function and two years in supervisory roles
