The position
The purpose of this role is to define and implement the local education plans ensuring that all programs of the Client’s Retail Academy are rolled out in a timely manner and the team is trained and coached on in luxury execution.
This role is responsible to ensure the development and growth of the Beauty Advisors and the retail team.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Roadmap
Responsible for implementing the roadmap and strategy for the Education & Training team, ensuring that regional guidelines are considered.
Manages and controls the Education and Training budget to ensure the company gets the best return on investment and all budgets are managed in line with % of sales objectives
Collaborates with regional Education & Training team to provide training plans and forecasts and inputs into company re-forecasting processes using the latest market and retailer information available
Training
Responsible for carrying out all necessary training for the team with the support of the local retail coaches
Ensures the implementation of all the Retail Academy Modules and The Art of Beauty Protocols training are carried out accordingly to Regional guidelines, aims for the upskilling of all beauty advisors by Identifying skills gaps and future learning requirements
Collaborates closely with the regional education teams to ensure regular feedback is provided
Aligns all training and POS coaching activities to effectively impact the Regional Retail KPI’s
Leads the follow-up and action plan based on Retail KPI’s and Training Skills (talent mapping)
Events/Presentations
Conducts and implement presentations at PR, Store, Staff and client events, being the creations expert for the Client
Proactively propose and conducts VIP events in store. Is a key figure of expert knowledge at VIP and press events
Responsible for overseeing all communication with Regional teams as well as delivering any internal or external presentations within the scope of responsibility.
Manages the Coaches team to ensure
Serviced doors are visited, and coaching is conducted on a regular basis according to the current plan and priorities
Setting standards and expectations for each visit.
POS Coaching plans are defined and implemented for each Coach
Ensure the POS Coaching is conducted according to the Regional guidelines in terms of methodology and timelines for the follow-up
Where individuals require additional coaching, sets with the coaches a framework and follow up for this to happen
Manages all aspects of the Training team, ensuring objectives are set and regular reviews take place, encouraging everyone to develop and maximize their performance
The Candidate
BA degree or similar education
Experience in a similar role managing a team of coaches
Experience working with a luxury brand
Native local language, English fluent is a must
Highly proficient in the use of Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
Ability to build a vision and identify performance improvement opportunities and develop solutions that will deliver the desired results through training and coaching programs
Confidence in presenting to large numbers of people and VIPs clients
Ability to translate business priorities into a focused, simple and measurable training/coaching plan
Organizational skills, be inspirational and ambitious
Ability to switch between top-line details and getting into the detail.
