Key Qualifications:
5+ years of related experience
Experience with software development methodologies including Agile and Scrum
Domain experience working with Hadoop, Big Data, networking or cloud preferred
Strong knowledge of Project Management tools, process and best practices
PMP and/or Agile certifications preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
Description:
Collaborate with engineering managers, technical leads and product managers to drive planning and execution of complex software development projects from definition to successful delivery of releases
Assist with the development and implementation of a consistent approach to project management across the engineering function
Be the single point of contact for raising new requirements, change requests and priority changes
Ensure new projects have adequate requirements, documentation, business cases, and time limits
Monitor progress against agreed dates
Agree on delivery dates with engineering and stakeholders, following estimation, task definition and resource allocation
Manage dependencies across geographically distributed teams and across projects, and coordinate issue resolution across teams.
