Prime Property Group is searching for a Technical Director.
Duties:
Providing technical support for projects;
Researching and introducing new technologies in construction;
Management of the regional offices (setting goals and objectives, monitoring their implementation, motivation, mentoring and team development, defining the regional office goals for the short/medium and long term);
Drafting new and improving existing company’s policies and processes;
Training, leading, and coaching team members;
Analyze financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation;
Ensuring cross-functional interaction with related departments of the company;
Assessing and interpreting technical/design brief for works cost planning;
Formatting and managing program relating to tender and agreeing works duration with project’s teams;
Developing and revising statements of work with accurate cost and time estimates;
Ensure drawings are accurate, logic, cost efficient;
Coordination of design, sales and contractors to ensure design and costs are certified ready for input into tender documentation;
Supervising design teams and explaining the technical requirements to the different teams involved in construction;
Assisting with the creation of in-house standards and monitoring quality during construction to make improvements;
Presenting pre-contract cost documents to Development Director/Chief Operating Officer;
Assisting on feasibility studies and writing procurement reports;
Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan;
Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, putting the preliminaries together, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents;
Dealing effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable referring major changes to project managers.
Requirements:
Technical education;
The similar experience;
Upper-intermediate English.
