NIKE has a significant opportunity for a Supply Chain Operations & Logistics Director to work in a cross functional agile environment that spans across EMEA and serves the Russia Marketplace operational business needs.

 

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Outside of MPO and the Russia team you will connect with your customers, 3PL’s, carrier network and Nike’s logistical functions. You’ll be the Operations voice in a cross-functional team, providing logistics/operations context across EMEA with a sharp point on the Russia Marketplace.

 

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Lead and develop a high-performing team through the Nike Leadership Defined Model and steward the culture of belonging.
Define & deliver Operational strategy for Russia in partnership with other MPO and MPU leaders.
Deliver the business in accordance with financial commitments while balancing speed, cost, sustainability and convenience. Accountable for Russia operations performance.
Monitor and interpret marketplace & operational signals and trends from other MPU’s, hold right parties accountable, and constantly prioritize for the team
Elevate Nike, 3PL and partners supply chain end to end performance to agreed targets in partnership with ELC. Find creative solutions to risks and opportunities.
Improve tools, processes, and ways of working. Drive simplified, digitalized operations.
Bring in external best practices and help Nike become a best in class retail supply chain.
Ensure the service levels of the 3PL provider in line with Nike standards, marketplace needs and agreed quality and compliance requirements. Monitor actual expenditures vs budgeted;
The role reports direct to the Marketplace Operations Director Export & Distributors.

 

WHAT YOU BRING

A minimum of 8+ years Supply Chain, Allocation, or Planning, experience in a Retail, FMCG or Consumer Goods business
5+ years’ experience leading a broad and diverse team, including managing managers
Thinks strategically: drives team’s strategic direction based on Nike’s Marketplace plans, industry trends, retail reality as well as the tactical direction to simplification and standardization of processes.
Foster effective teamwork, develops others, values differences and communicates vision & purpose thru a multi-layer cross cultural team; Acts as a servant leader to the team while being a coach
Analytical and problem-solving skills to make informed strategic decisions and able to translate complex problems into tangible objectives, and drive systemic solutioning with bigger teams
Manages ambiguity: strong interpersonal & communication skills, ability to influence in a matrix organization
Proven track record in leading and delivering process improvement
Digital literacy: MS office, advanced Excel, SAP, Cognos and Tableau.
