Main Responsibilities
Strategic and Operational accountability for all logistics and distribution activities in CEE
Demonstrate leadership in supply chain processes, policies and standards including warehousing, transportation, customer service and import/export.
Actively coach the team building their leadership skills, end to end supply chain knowledge, customer understanding and business acumen, drive performance management activities to achieve business results.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of end-to-end supply chain process, including systems and process interfaces with mills, procurement and S&OP.
As a member of the CEE leadership team, actively participate to the strategic decisions to meet the company goals, and make sure logistics and distribution activities are aligned to those strategic decisions.
Ensure safe and environmentally sound working conditions and practices within CEE SC sites.
Providing work direction and strategic leadership to the CEE SC team.
Have a thorough understanding of Lean Basics of waste, visual management, 5S, Simple Problem Solving and Standard Work and implement those through the SC activities.
Engagement with the business, maintain close, co-operative relationships with key stakeholders and customers, including marketing, sales, finance, operations and legal.
Lead to identify cost saving opportunities through operational efficiency in the value chain to improve K-C’s level of profitability and make sure that the identified opportunities are brought into life, change management
Compliance to CFI’s and Code of Conduct in all SC activities
Communicate fully with stakeholders, subordinates, and others who have need to know. Communicate in a way that is timely, yet prompt; complete, yet concise; candid, yet accurate; and clear, yet responsive.
Identify and work with stakeholders to solve, systemic and complex SC related issues, product shortages and loading or carrier constraints.
Initiate/lead significant logistics & distribution projects that are adding value in support of delivering KPI’s and the business results.
Support the development and process improvement of supply chain specific processes in related areas.
Understand and ensure appropriate application of all CEE Countries policies and procedures. Build relationships with Government offices where needed, work closely with legal and regulatory teams.
Develop KPI’s and strategies for CEE SC process, and lead efforts to make progress on all reporting and metric enhancement initiatives.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor Degree, Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 6 years of Supply Chain Management field experience
>5 years team leader experience
Experience in Planning/Demand Management helpful
Thorough understanding of end-to-end supply chain process.
Microsoft Office
SAP Knowledge
Highly developed leadership skills.
Sound interpersonal and management skills
Ability to drive results, ensuring continuity of high performance and achieving stretch targets.
