Responsibilities/principal duties:
Support delivery of growth objectives and P&L within the cluster:
- Manage and own the SC relationship by supporting the customer
- Drive excellence in all the areas of customer collaboration thus creating a culture of continuous improvements
- Develop lean supply chain initiatives to ensure we maintain pace with customer demand while protecting working capital
- Continuously analyse the supply chain and implement alternative strategies to reduce cost and improve performance
- Facilitates transparent discussions of risk & opportunities cross functionally to drive profitable trade off decisions
- Driving lean / agile route to market strategy developments (eg: Omni Channel | EComm | Discounters etc…)
S&OP | Demand Planning:
- Govern the demand planning process for the respective region / business units
- Maintaining close relationships with customer facing functions to best anticipate, sense and or shape demand
- Collaborating across all key functions to collectively lead the S&OP process for the business units
- Facilitating aligned decision making through evaluating and remising projections for demand, supply, portfolio changes, strategic projects and the resulting financial plans
E2E SC Optimization:
- Manages service / inventory performance across the SC through to delivery and / or consumption by end customers
- Supports SLOB mgt optimisation within the cluster
- Shaping and strengthen SC process by identifying internal and external best practice to develop strategic plans to meet needs of BU
Distribution & Transportation (D&T):
- Leads Distribution & Transportation (D&T) operations in Russia & CIS; provides guidance and strategic direction to D&T organizations in the markets and Hubs
- Manages D&T organization via metrics and drives continuous improvement agenda
- Proactively surfaces and resolves key issues with a sense of urgency, demonstrates continuous improvement including footprint, resource management, leveraged value
- Establishes effective processes to support and drive E2E processes
Education/experience:
- Education and/or additional training: BA required; Advanced degree preferred.
Experience and functional competencies:
- Minimum 10 years in relevant Supply Chain leadership roles
- Experience with Supply Chain, Commercial / Marketing, Finance and Operations
- Experience working in a global function and in a matrix environment
- Deep expertise across core transportation and warehouse processes
- Capability in distribution / transportation capacity planning and management
- Demonstrated capability in executing 3PL management
- Capability in core transportation and warehouse systems
- Strong business acumen – understands the business; portfolio, markets, customers, challenges and demands
- Proven track record of developing and building diverse, high-performance teams with a strong sense of mission
- Ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships internally and externally with customer focus
- Possesses skills to build an organization embracing a culture of functional excellence, continuous improvement and E2E orchestration
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity across a broad portfolio of customers and channels
- Demonstrated impact on roles requiring orchestration and influence; E2E mindset and collaborative, influence-based leadership approach
