A global growing Food-Tech company located in Ramat Gan is looking for a Supply Chain and Logistics Director (a 'Hands-on' position).
Responsibilities:
- Select logistics suppliers and negotiate service content and rates
- Responsibility of purchasing raw materials
- Negotiating with suppliers
- Manage inventory levels, suitable for planned manufacturing, and manage the ordering and receiving procedures with raw materials suppliers
- Manage and coordinators all logistics processes - warehousing, transportation by sea, land and air, customs handling, stock taking, issue resolution, etc.
- Manage the order process in NetSuite, and all types of inventory transfer operations and other related tasks
- Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
- Working closely with a US based logistics person (Amazon inventory, international transportation of finished goods Etc.)
- Managing one employee, plans to expand the team in the future
- Working one day from home
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience working in a similar position in a global manufacturing company
- Relevant academic degree
- Working knowledge of logistics and inventory ERP module (Oracle/NetSuite preferred)
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to commit to the job and put in long hours when needed
