Bayer is looking for a Sub-Regional Demand Manager (RU/CIS/Ukr).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Key Business Partner on demand planning questions for cluster/sub-region to all CH stakeholders
  • Is accountable for the cluster/sub-regional demand planning cycle including all business scenario assessment as aligned with the respective cross-functional Leadership Team:
  • Monthly demand analysis at cluster/sub-regional level for entire portfolio to identify key risks and opportunities relevant for the business and present these to senior executives at cluster/sub-regional / regional S&OP meeting
  • Monthly analysis of forecasting error/bias within the region to identify patterns that require intervention at country level to improve forecasting performance
  • Is accountable for volume input/validation to the Financial Planning cycle including risks & opportunities
  • Commercial CH sales forecast (BUD, FCx)
  • EMEA site OPEX for production volume
  • Owns the cluster/sub-regional Demand Planning capability program and masterplan:
  • Actively implements regional masterplan into the respective markets / OMPs hubs
  • Represents assigned cluster/sub-regional within community of EMEA CH Demand planners for best practice development and trainings
  • Hereby accountable for the implementation of demand planning lighthouse program for assigned markets. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Stakeholder and change management of local market and change story for all relevant functions and leaders (Commercial, Finance, PS)
  • All relevant country commercial/financial processes mapped and country requirements derived in order to transform these processes into target blueprint. This transformation includes financial, commercial and Supply Chain processes
  • Leads project management for assigned implementation and in alignment with country organization, regional and global Consumer Health organization and external IT vendors
  • Accountable for project budget adherence of assigned markets
  • Is accountable for the process changes of all local commercial, financial and Supply Chain processes to enable application of future demand planning CH blueprint. This includes all change management needed for key commercial/financial leads in the given markets
  • Is accountable to develop local demand planning organization for future processes and OMP tool implementation – to ensure country organization remains self-sufficient post project go-live
  • Identifies any organizational changes needed in local market and aligns a potential change proposal with commercial and PS heads
  • Represents country requirements on global level to align on standardization and customization of future planning system


Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in a business, logistics, technical discipline or equivalent – MBA preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of supply chain management experience in Consumer or Durable Products
  • Sound knowledge of state-of-art supply chain tools and forecasting/demand planning concepts
  • Basic knowledge in P&L and financial planning
  • Strong conceptual skills with the ability to motivate others
  • Strong proven leadership and communication skills with passion for driving cultural change
  • Strong change agent
  • Ability to build relationships throughout the organization including senior management stakeholders
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work in a very complex environment
  • Innovative, digital, strategic and agile mindset
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with solid understanding of financial framework
  • Fluent Russian and English
