Boeing Russia is currently looking for Stress Analyst Engineering Team Lead for Freighter Conversions Projects to join their team in Moscow, Russia.

 

On this position you will provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Develop solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. You will represent the organization by providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

 

Position Responsibilities:

Supports 737/767 Passenger to Freighter conversion by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
Verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
Performs detailed structural analysis to determine structural integrity (margins of safety), using classical techniques and Boeing tools
Performs structural analysis and provides expertise to respond to customer inquiries, develops service bulletins, investigates failures and coordinate with regulatory agencies, to maintain continued airworthiness/mission capability
Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5 or more years' experience in Aerospace industry
High Education Diploma in Engineering is a must
English: Intermediate level or higher
Existing authorization to work in Russia

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Stress Analyst familiar with static, fatigue analysis and damage tolerance
Technical English write/speak (intermediate level or above)
Familiar with the Aircraft Structure
Familiar with FAA regulations
Fluent Russian

 

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
