Mars is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager.
Strategic Sourcing Manager in Pet Nutrition is an essential commercial associate responsible and accountable for managing relationships with stakeholders across organization and externally with suppliers within entrusted buying categories. Delivers buying strategy development and deployment, assures competitive market commercial terms achieved after each procurement activity, initiatively drives meaningful COGs reduction activities.
You will do:
Develop and deploy buying strategy for entrusted categories;
Manage buying categories: align buying approach across-category and across-regions, conduct market researches, select and negotiates suppliers, manage purchasing processes, manage contracts, run OP and recurrent price forecasts, identify and manage availability and price risks, ensure supply chain and inventories agility, transparency and sufficiency, manage performance and relationship of suppliers, conduct and approve business allocation recommendations across key stakeholders;
Actively participate S&OP+ and QES processes delivering cost avoidance and cost saving pipeline as well as associated commitments roadmap (ethics, sustainability, responsibility, inclusivity & diversity, etc.).
The company expects:
Higher Education (economics, management, engineering preferred);
Minimum 3 years of direct (raw materials, ingredients) procurement experience (international FMCG or retail preferred);
English from upper-intermediate;
Excellent negotiation skills;
