YouTube is looking for a Strategic Partner Manager (Gaming and Creator Partnerships).

 

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in media or online video
  • Experience in account management, partnership management, and/or business development
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Russian fluently

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects and influence and communicate cross-functionally and externally
  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally and externally with all levels of management
  • Understanding of content distribution and licensing
  • Familiarity with the gaming industry and an understanding of the creator economy
  • Excellent facilitation and analytical skills regarding agreement, technical, and financial topics with partners
  • Excellent communication, presentation planning, and time management skills, with attention to detail

 

About the job:
As a Strategic Partner Manager on the Content Partnerships team at YouTube, you will have a unique opportunity to create long-lasting partner relationships and have a substantial impact on partners’ growth as powerful digital media businesses. You will also make an important contribution into making a broad variety of content available to YouTube audiences. You will operate in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. You will work on complex content agreements with partners and cooperate cross-functionally with colleagues across multiple disciplines, to ensure partners are positioned for success and users enjoy the best experience possible.
You will also coordinate and manage day-to-day partner relationships and operational processes, fielding and prioritizing incoming requests, troubleshooting partner systems around reporting, content management, and content ID, and creating periodic reports (external and internal) on partner performance.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize existing partnerships to improve business growth and user experience, while maintaining relationships with partners
  • Identify opportunities with existing partners by finding creative ways to jointly contribute to the partner’s overall goals by digital means on YouTube
  • Develop commercial video strategies with partners, and work cross-functionally to ensure plan execution
  • Deliver audience development and content strategy workshops to help partners grow their business on YouTube
  • Develop agreements, interpret legal documents, and work with attorneys to complete and sustain effective relationships with external counterparts
