Flashpoint is an international VC firm with equity and debt funds with over $170m in assets under management. We invest in technology companies founded by entrepreneurs from Emerging Europe and Israel. With offices in London, Budapest, Warsaw, Riga and Tel-Aviv, Flashpoint is a local investor with international capabilities.
We are now looking for an intern to support our teams in Warsaw, Riga or Moscow. This is an off-cycle paid internship program starting in March-April 2020.
Liabilities:
- Dealflow generation: finding new investment opportunities, reaching out to founders, making the first contact
- Helping the team with target companies evaluation (market sizing, competition analysis, financial modeling)
- Participating in deal execution
- Analyzing markets and helping with research
- Operational support: portfolio work, fundraising, reporting

- Exposure to different technology markets and regions (CEE, Israel, Finland)

Who we are looking for:
- Higher education degree
- From 0–2 years of work experience in a start-up, consulting firm, Investment Banking or Venture Capital
- General understanding of how internet business models work
- Knowledge of corporate finance
- At least 40 hours/week
- Superb Excel skills (python knowledge is a plus)
- Fluent English
