The role supports all lines of business in Russia, CIS and Baltics and all brands with various kind of PR activities
aligning local and international needs and priorities and manages internal communications initiatives.
Responsible for planning and implementation of corporate PR strategy. Acts as an expert in consumer PR
working closely with brand teams on brands PR-strategy development. The role implies working with PR-agency
without direct subordinates currently, but they may be added in the future depending on the projects scope.
Responsibilities
Corporate Comms
Develop corporate PR-strategy for ViacomCBS Networks International within RCIS, Ukraine & Baltics
territories and manage its implementation;
Ensure PR support is provided to for all LOBs (affiliate sales, digital, ad sales, sponsorship/events, consumer products, apps, etc.) in Russia, Ukraine, CIS and Baltics;
Work closely with EMEAA cluster and North Hub Comms team to ensure alignment of all PR activities,
timely distribution of localized international press-releases and seeking approvals for local press-releases
when needed;
Coordinate workflows and approval processes according to local needs with key stakeholders, Hub, Cluster and local PR agency.
Manage relationship with local PR agency, ensure high quality of service, coordinate agency activities within retainer contract;
Work directly with press representatives in case of absence of agency support in specific territory;
Work closely with the agency or independently write press-releases and ensure their proper translation for approval with international teams and timely distribution;
Work with VCNI RCIS management to provide comments for press ensuring timely feedback to their requests;
Contribute to improve and grow VCNI image at the market by monitoring events for senior management
participation, proactively providing comments to press, arranging interviews for senior management and
using other opportunities to facilitate VCNI brand awareness;
Monitor competitors media activity, market trends, VCNI business globally in order to proactively develop opportunities and initiatives for PR activities;
Distribute monthly newsletter to partners; Ensure regular updates of corporate website and support external communication via corporate accounts in social media.
Consumer Comms
Support development of consumer PR-strategy for VCNI brands working closely with Head of Marketing and Brand Leads;
Provide support with consumer communications strategy execution when needed. Internal Communications
Develop local strategy for internal communications based on global plans and local initiatives;
Plan and execute all internal communications activities;
Manage regular Internal comms projects – meetings, messages, employee engagement by various means of staff communication;
Ensure local success stores are included in internal communications at both a cluster and international level;
Be a point of contact to manage VCNI RCIS participation in Town Halls at Hub, Cluster and international level;
Work closely with HR to promote rollout of Employee Affinity Groups and other Programs to VCNI RCIS
staff.
Skills
Proficient in Corporate PR strategy development and execution;
Previous experience of working within international company or working with such clients from agency side is a must;
Previous experience of working at a similar media environment is preferred;
Experience of working on internal comms projects is desirable;
Fluent Russian language, strong writing and editorial skills;
Fluency in English;
Excellent communicator – able to liaise effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including external parties and senior stakeholders;
Proven ability to think creative and strategic while handling complex issues.
Strong project management and multitasking skills;
Ability to see big picture, work under pressure while meeting budgets and deadlines.
