The 1st division club of Russia is seeking a Sports director.
Objectives:
To develop, implement and put into practice the vision, the strategy, the football philosophy, the methodology, the recruitment strategy and the strategy of the club academy.
Conditions:
- Develop a 3-5 year team 1. succession plan, working in conjunction with the head coach, technical advisor, and CEO.
- Define the components and implement the soccer strategy / routes, developing the necessary internal documents, procedures and regulations;
- Create, implement and monitor a clear philosophy of play across all teams;
- Delivery of the strategy for the use of analysis and data in the club and the Academy for the analysis of recruitment and performance; determination of short and long term strategy and progressive implementation of solutions, suppliers;
- Development and implementation of programs / methods for the development of all levels and ages, including, but not limited to: tactical and technical characteristics, recovery, nutrition, psychology;
- Academy strategy, which includes the development and recruitment of young academy talents (local players), a collaborative strategy with various youth sports schools in the region and Russia in general.
- Lead the selection and performance processes.
- Use data and information to acquire players with high potential resale value.
- Hire key personnel making sure it stays tight at first, but effective.
- Internship policy and collaboration strategy (exploration, performance, medical, etc.) ensuring that we have support with little or no cost.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing a soccer operation as described above.
- Tech-savvy, great and extensive knowledge of software and tools for performance analysis, recruitment, medicine / science.
- High level of both football and general intelligence.
- The UEFA A coaching license with coaching experience at an elite level would be an advantage.
- Ability to write high-quality presentations, policies, and documents.
- At a minimum, excellent written and spoken English and an ability to understand and speak other languages would be advantageous (Russian is a great advantage).
- Experience in leading people / teams.
- Collaborator and natural communicator.
