The International Committee of the Red Cross is searching for a Social Media Manager.
Function description:
- Maintains, manages and develops ICRC social media platforms for general public in Russian.
- Produces content adapted for various types of communication channels.
- Identifies and explores new dissemination and communication channels and tools.
- Analyses and evaluates the efficiency and impact of social media communication.
- Promotes ICRC social media platforms and provides relevant statistics and reports.
- Creates and maintains a network of contacts among the Russian social media platforms to promote ICRC work.
- Assists in the management of the website and manages the website independently in the absence of the Senior Advisor on Digital Communication.
- Executes administrative and office work related to the project.
Required skills:
- University degree in communication, journalism, social sciences or similar.
- Fluent command of English.
- Russian is a native language. Excellent writing skills in Russian.
- 3-5 years’ experience in social media content creation and digital marketing (working for an NGO is a plus).
- Solid knowledge of the mechanisms of social media platforms (Vkontakte, Facebook, Twitter, Telegram, etc.) and digital marketing including SEO and audience analysis
- Strong knowledge of digital analytical and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of web publishing and design tools (Photoshop Elements, Canva, etc.).
- Ability to come up with creative content, following internet-trends.
- Solid knowledge of current affairs in Russia and international relations.
- Ability read French, Spanish or Arabic is a plus.
Terms and conditions:
- Full-time indefinite employment contract.
- Monthly salary 120’000 RUB before taxes, 13th salary, medical insurance.
