The company is looking for a social media manager to develop and manage the brand’s social and content strategies across MENA region, with an initial focus on Dubai. This person will be responsible for implementing and driving social media strategies to reach target audiences. The role will play a pivotal part in enhancing brand awareness and driving engagement.
The role reports in to the Head Of Marketing, but would be collaborating with multiple functions which include sales, marketing and communications teams and external agencies (on later stages) to grow the communities and deliver creative and engaging content for social campaigns and programs.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to achieve company objectives, including brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends
Content Creation and Management:
- Create engaging, high-quality, and relevant content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to social media, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Podcasts
- Plan and schedule content calendars in advance, ensuring a consistent posting schedule
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content and respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally
Community Engagement:
- Build and nurture a vibrant online community by engaging with followers, fostering discussions, and encouraging user-generated content
- Identify and collaborate with influencers, brand ambassadors, and industry partners to expand our reach and influence
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics regularly to track the performance of campaigns and content
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize social media efforts for maximum impact
- Provide regular reports to the marketing team and management, highlighting key performance indicators and suggesting improvements
Social Media Advertising:
- Develop and manage paid social media advertising campaigns to increase brand visibility and drive conversions
- Monitor ad performance, optimize budgets, and refine targeting to achieve desired outcomes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- 4+ years SMM experience, ideally in-house, with a genuine love of everything social
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
- Proven organic social experience across social media, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Podcasts
- Strong expertise in social reporting and analytics
- Proficient use of social publishing platforms (Hootsuite, Sprinklr, etc.)
- Demonstrable experience in devising successful social media strategies and campaigns
- Ability to understand and monitor industry trends, identify the key players that we should be associating with and pull accurate, interesting and engagement-worthy key messages from content and communications, as well as that of its customers and partners
- Knowledge of the local business landscape and cultural sensitivities in Dubai
- Fluent English is a must. Arabic is an added bonus
