WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop and execute a content marketing strategy across various social media channels to position BCG as a thought leader
  • Co-create together with Social Media Coordinator and maintain an editorial calendar for BCG social media platforms including Facebook, VK, Instagram, Telegram and LinkedIn
  • Generate, collaborate, and produce concise social media stories/posts
  • Work across business functions to develop content, capture our unique voices, enhance thought leadership, and highlight our team and key value propositions for homeowners and guests
  • Own the company tone and voice, maintaining journalistic standards for content, including grammar, consistency, accuracy, sourcing and style
  • Serve as the writer and editor for the organization ensuring consistent style, tone, and voice in various types of content including but not limited to social posts, websites, blog, articles, etc.
  • Serve as an internal subject-matter expert and evangelist for content marketing and social media within the organization
  • Continually test and innovate on content formats and distribution channels to determine the optimal approach to reaching/engaging desired audiences
  • Do photo research as needed to ensure that all stories have compelling artwork that fits in with brand guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in journalism, communications, public relations, or marketing and supplemented by at least four (4) years of progressive experience in public relations, journalism, communications or varied media projects.
  • Must be a very strong proofreader in all forms of copywriting.
  • Strong editorial judgement with exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our organization in various types of content (websites, blog, articles, social updates, banners, etc.).
  • Motivated self-starter, accountable and can work with minimal direction while functioning well with a fluid, flexible workload. Planning and looking ahead is a must with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow-through on issues in a timely manner. Creatively and proactively problem solve; must possess the ability to make independent decisions and judgments about work priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of internal management and staff. Exhibit confidence and poise in interactions with individuals at all levels.

Desired:

  • Experience with content management systems, social media, graphics software, still and video cameras, video/audio/image editing

Experience working in corporate public relations, public affairs
