Diageo is looking for a Shopper Marketing Manager.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

Lead the creative development of integrated shopper marketing programmes for Diageo brands designed to drive effective and efficient shopper conversion at the point or purchase.
The Shopper Marketing programmes include both POS materials creation and determine the right activation mechanics for every brand/(sub)channel based on deep understanding of shopper behaviour.
Ensure shopper marketing programmes are developed through the lens of the priority (sub)channels (Hypermarkets, Supermarkets, Convenience, Discounters, E-commerce, etc) and there is consistency in the deployment of key brand assets to build and access memory structures.
Lead the briefing and management of agencies to ensure all tools are delivered on time in full in line with customer requirements.
Ensure robust M&E is in place, to develop comprehensive understanding of behaviour change and corresponding drivers of financial performance.
Build brilliant partnerships with the Activation teams to ensure their needs are being fully met and programmes can be easily tailored to meet specific customer needs.
Build partnerships with the Brand Marketing teams to ensure creative asset development requirements are delivered and work is in line with brand strategy and creative guidelines.

 

ABOUT YOU:

The individual needs to have strong shopper behaviour and customer understanding, underpinned by experience in Trade Marketing, and must possess excellent relationship building skills, combined with an ability to engage and influence with impact and tenacity, resulting in executional excellence.
Experience in managing creative agencies is a must.
Existing ability to build genuine relationships built on mutual trust & respect.
Comfort with dealing with ambiguity, complexity and working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and matrixed environment.
Deep personal accountability for great performance.
Degree educated and 3-5 years experience in Shopper Marketing, Trade Marketing or Brand Marketing.
Fluency in English is essential.
