Apple is seeking a Country Manager to lead and grow the App Store, Apple Music, and Apple TV businesses across Russia & CIS.
Fortifying relationships with the developer, music, movies, technology and media sectors in those markets will be central to the success of this role.
Key Qualifications
A high degree of executive credibility, with a strong and established network within the Russian technology, e-commerce, music, movies, entertainment and media industries.
A successful record of launching and managing digital distribution of entertainment services in Russia, including the negotiation of rights.
Previous exposure to multiple digital businesses and comfort building and executing tailor-made strategies.
A consistent record of working on complex, global and time-critical projects.
A quick learner with an analytical mind, able to exert strategic vision while building consensus through a consultative working style.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a track record of leading change and virtual team building experiences.
Senior leadership experience managing, developing and inspiring a team of strong professionals.
An international approach, showing great understanding of and passion for local nuances.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Apple products and services.
In this role you will:
Define strategies for digital content businesses at different stages of development, driving long-term growth.
Strengthen and form new relationships with regional developers, movie studios, record labels and artistic talent communities.
Drive major decisions within extremely fast evolving businesses.
Set goals, drive performance and develop a local team.
Translate data into insights and draw business conclusions.
Perform business due diligence in Russia pertaining to relevant lines of business.
Track and communicate progress, course correct actions and coach team members.
Build strong ties to existing and new C-Level partners across multiple businesses.
Additional Requirements:
Minimum 10+ years of relevant technology, music, entertainment and media industry experience in Russia.
Exceptional relationship network at senior executive level within Russia’s leading technology, entertainment and media companies.
Fluency in Russian and English is required. Additional languages are a plus.
