Job Overview:
The company is seeking a future Director of Sales to join the fast-growing startup, Squares. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our Affiliation department and serving as the CEO's right-hand for all operational matters.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the strategy to achieve KPI of affiliating 5000 venues and launching Squares in 10 international cities in 2023
- Lead, coach, and manage the Affiliation team to ensure they are meeting their KPIs and targets
- Build and maintain relationships with venue owners and affiliates to drive growth and revenue
- Identify new opportunities to grow our Affiliation program and improve our processes
- Work closely with the CEO to manage day-to-day operations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors
- Manage key operational projects and initiatives, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget
- Analyze data and report on key performance metrics to inform strategic decision-making
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales, operational or affiliation management, preferably in a startup environment
- Experience managing and leading teams, with a strong track record of meeting KPIs and targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
- Passionate about startups and entrepreneurship, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work with a smaller salary in exchange for the potential for growth and equity in the company
