Henkel is searching for a Senior Purchasing Specialist Hercules / Resin.
Your role:
Execute the overall management of Plastic categories (Bottles, Closures, Resin) of Henkel, incl. supplier relationship management
Actively collaborate with Purchasing KAMs and Global Category Team Leaders and roll-out global strategies and projects on the regional and country level
Prepare and conduct sourcing activities and ensure achievement of purchasing KPI’s (e.g. savings, price development, payment terms, supplier base, etc.)
Generate ideas for cost optimization and look for improvements in existing business-models, processes and approaches
Contribute to the corporate goals via active participation in special projects and initiatives beyond the assigned Packaging categories (within Purchasing, but also in cross-functional, cross-regional scope)
Drive sustainability agenda of the company
Actively collaborate with internal stakeholders, understand their needs and lead project teams
Your skills:
Higher education
Min. 5+ years’ work experience in Directs Purchasing preferably in an international environment / FMCG. Knowledge of respective material markets as an advantage
Motivated, pro-active, self-directed
Active contributor to the regional purchasing team in all dimensions: discussions, workstreams, projects with leading attitude and sense of ownership
With positive communication style and well developed soft-skills
English language is essential (upper-intermediate+)
PC skills: MS Office, PowerPoint, SAP.
