adidas is looking for a Senior PR specialist.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of PR strategy for sport marketing campaigns within Russia and manage its implementation working closely with Brand Comms Leads.
Ensure PR support is provided for key sport Business Units brand campaigns (Football, Running, Outdoor, Training) in Russia.
Work closely with EMEA cluster and global Newsroom team to ensure alignment of all PR activities, timely distribution of localized international press materials.
Coordinate workflows and approval processes according to local needs with key stakeholders and local PR agency.
Manage relationship with local PR agency, ensure high quality of service, coordinate agency activities within retainer contract.
Work directly with key press representatives in case of special PR editorials creation and press tours organization.
Work closely with the agency or independently write press releases and ensure their timely distribution and follow up.
Work closely with local Newsroom team and other Brand Activation teams to align on the entire comms strategy.
Contribute to improve and grow adidas image as the best sport brand in the world by constant monitoring and initiation of key company’s spokespersons participation in PR events/expert comments providing for Tier 1 media, arranging interviews for senior management and using other opportunities to facilitate adidas brand awareness and desire.
Monitor competitors media activity, market trends, adidas business globally in order to proactively develop opportunities and initiatives for PR activities.
Prepare and distribute monthly PR digest to CIS community and SLT.
Requirements:
Proficient in sports and consumer PR.
Previous experience of working within international company or working with such clients from agency side is a must.
Previous experience of working at a similar media environment is preferred.
Strong writing and editorial skills.
English (upper-intermediate).
Excellent communicator – able to liaise effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including external parties.
Proven ability to think creative and strategic while handling PR activities.
Strong project management and multitasking skills.
