Syncreon provides services including warehouse management, export packing and fulfillment.
Job Description
Oversees and manages the daily activities of packing and shipping functions
Interfaces with customer to ensure smooth coordination and Customer satisfaction, calculates and identifies needs of staffing increases or decreases
Enacts contingency plans as needed; escalates and directs activities during systems problems, disasters, etc.; identifies potential problems, troubleshoots, escalates issues to the General manager, and leads the postmortem analysis of problems providing input for future process improvements (CAPA)
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to foster/aid/promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness
Motivates employees, sets goals for them, estimates their skills and abilities, stimulates employees to comply with their liabilities
Responsible for the operational performance at a plant level, controls productivity and efficiency of the warehouse, reviews ongoing performance results to targets and takes corrective measures with authorization, escalates as needed
Responsible for providing direction, advice and counsel to operations supervisors and employees
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by monitoring security procedures and protocols
Ensure site conforms to Corporate standards and Customer requirements
Leads Kaizen projects, Gemba walks, Boards walks, internal 5S audits
Performs other related duties as assigned
Ensures that personal actions or the actions of others conducted do not endanger him/herself, other employees, or visitors
Handles and stores all materials so that it will not endanger him/herself , other employees, or visitors
Practices good housekeeping in all plant areas
Wears personal safety equipment required for the job
Learns and follows safe operating procedures when using tools and equipment
Knows how to respond to an emergency
Requirements
3 years' experience supervising in Warehouse operations (Technology industry is preferable)
Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
Strong English verbal and written
Ability to communicate and deal with a variety of people including internal and external customers, management and functional departments
Ability to effectively train, teach and coach team members
Ability to work with frequent distractions in a fast paced environment
Proficiency in working with customers and visitors
Provides input on the development and/or revision of various policies or standard operational procedures

How you will contribute
Manage the daily activities of a logistics operation to maximize scheduling and delivery of commodities to the customer.
Interface with customer to ensure smooth -coordination of scheduling and maximization of schedule adherence; provides input on local conditions, identifies needs and receives direction on real-time staffing increases or decreases.
Enact contingency plans as needed; escalate and direct activities during system problems, disasters, etc.; identify potential problems, troubleshoot, escalate issues to local and senior management, and participate in post-mortem analysis of problems providing input for future process improvements.
Review ongoing performance results to targets. Take corrective measures with authorization, escalate as needed
Responsible for providing effective leadership to the Warehouse Managers and/or team, enforcing company standards, act as a role model.
Other duties as assigned.
Your Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.
Progressive experience performing professional level operational and plant management duties; preferably in automotive or logistics industry.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write documents using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management and customer.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
