Provider of worldwide smart end-to-end supply chain logistics DP World is looking for a Senior Officer - Hubs and Partners.
Job Purpose:
- The Senior Officer has both internal and external facing responsibilities, ranging from client and business management - business development, sales, strategy, high-quality client delivery, events - to oversight of partnerships and members
- The role will leverage current key partnerships whilst building and assessing a pipeline of new partners to support the agreed Hubs / Gateways / Participants
- This position reports to the Hubs and Partnerships Manager and will work closely with them to chart opportunities for partnership growth, execution, and servicing, and sponsorship sales strategy, development, and acquisition
Key Accountabilities:
Supporting the Manager:
- Develop a strategic approach to partnership development including renewed profits and referral objectives
- To communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally using the appropriate methods to facilitate the development of a profitable business and sustainable relationships
- Planning and prioritizing Hub & partnership activities
- Identifying and determining the suitability of partnership opportunities for development by the organization, recording details, and participating in the management of the opportunity pipeline
- Implementing strategies for nearby gateways and participants/ Associates
- Creating strategies in implementing Trade Routes
Supporting Peers:
- Identifying and, where appropriate, engaging internal and external stakeholders of the organization who have appropriate skills, experience, interest, and capacity to assist in developing partnership proposals
- Understanding different Hubs and Logistics journey
- Preparing and presenting the Training material on different hubs and journey
- To attend and where required, present at external customer meetings either individually or alongside other company colleagues with the aim of aiding partnership development
- To attend marketing events such as conferences and exhibitions in support of the partnership objectives
- Identify new opportunities in creating a successful and effective Trade route
- Provide and Maintain Updated Partner contacts for effective communication
- Responsible for Roll-out of different Hubs and Partners following the SLAs
Support Juniors:
- Develop new partnerships within the identified sector/s through adhering to the appropriate proposition channels, using ethical sales tactics and through engaging with the relevant internal contacts
- Respond to and follow up on leads, partnership enquiries using the appropriate methods and professionalism
- Creating professional documents that tell compelling stories of our service impacts and outcomes, incorporating partner feedback and meeting client requirements
- To provide a detailed report on the progress made against the hubs and partnerships objectives
- Coach Key Account Managers on strategies that maximize Benefits Usage
- Negotiate with Partners to extract Updated and top players of the hub
- Monitor the Outreach team and implement strategies for successful partnerships
Other:
- Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviors in harmony with DP World’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Partnerships, Supply Chain, Loyalty, Business Development, or any related fields. With an experience of a minimum of 3-4 in the industry
- Significant Experience in Strategic Partnership developments
- Experience in Sales / Business development
- Understanding of Trade and Logistics Industry
- Multi-lingual (Fluent in English)
- Experience in working with multinational Enterprise accounts
- Languages preferences: America’s region: English/Spanish, Middle East Africa region: English/French/Arabic, Asia & Australia region: English/Chinese/Bahasa/Russian/Hindi
